📋 Description
• Develop and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) • Operate and ensure the stability of critical data routines • Work with large volumes of data using Spark/Databricks • Optimize query and process performance • Support analytical data modeling • Automate operational processes and routines • Collaborate with business teams to gather and understand requirements • Document solutions and provide technical support to the team • Participate in technical and architectural decisions
🎯 Requirements
• Degree in IT-related fields (Databases, Computer Science, Systems, Engineering, or related areas) • Strong experience as a Data Engineer in corporate environments • Proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark • Hands-on experience with Databricks • Experience with on-premises environments (e.g., Teradata, SQL Server, etc.) • Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure • Nice-to-have (not mandatory): • Experience in financial environments • Participation in Databricks migration projects • Experience supporting production environments, jobs, and analytical resources • Experience in data acquisition/ingestion projects • Knowledge of data governance or data quality • Previous consulting experience
