📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing applications using Apache Spark with Java on AWS; • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications; • Optimize Spark jobs for performance and efficiency, ensuring high-quality data processing; • Implement data engineering best practices, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage; • Work with AWS services such as EMR, S3, Glue, and Redshift to build and deploy data solutions; • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement; • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing data processing applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability; • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; • Advanced/Fluent English - C2 (there will be interaction with international clients); • Software development experience with a strong focus on Apache Spark, Java, and AWS; • Proficiency with data processing frameworks and tools, particularly Spark SQL and DataFrames; • Solid knowledge of AWS services, including EMR, S3, Glue, and Redshift; • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
