📋 Description

• Handle the full set of accounts in Xero for a Hong Kong entity: Accounts payable & receivable • Bank reconciliations • General ledger management • Expense claims & reimbursements • Payroll coordination (with external payroll provider if needed) • Fixed assets and depreciation • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) or IFRS as required. • Manage cross-border transactions: Multi-currency invoicing and settlements • International vendor/customer transactions • FX revaluation and reporting • Withholding tax, VAT/GST, or relevant compliance matters • Support the annual Hong Kong statutory audit and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and banks. • Prepare cash flow projections, budgets, and variance analysis to support management decisions. • Ensure compliance with Hong Kong tax and corporate filing requirements, coordinating with service providers as needed. • Provide recommendations to streamline financial processes and strengthen internal controls.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, MICPA) preferred. • 3 to 7 years of hands-on accounting experience, including full set of accounts. • Strong experience using Xero (must be comfortable handling multi-currency, consolidation, and reporting features). • Experience with Hong Kong companies and familiarity with HK tax, audit, and reporting requirements. • Solid track record handling cross-border transactions (foreign currencies, overseas vendors/customers, tax implications). • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and excellent problem-solving ability. • Proficient in English (both written and spoken); Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage but not required. • Able to work independently in a remote setup with minimal supervision.
