📋 Description
• Developing, debugging, and optimising T-SQL stored procedures to support ETL/ELT processes and automation workflows • Managing SQL Server instances across environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and capacity planning • Designing and maintaining backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies while ensuring high availability of systems • Monitoring and tuning database performance, including query optimisation, indexing, and resource management • Supporting cloud integrations and managing database environments within AWS and Azure platforms • Collaborating with development teams to review and optimise database solutions, ensuring efficient and secure deployments
🎯 Requirements
• Strong experience managing SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, security, and performance tuning • Hands-on expertise in T-SQL and developing stored procedures for data processing and automation • Experience working with cloud-based database systems in AWS or Azure environments • Proficiency in scripting, such as PowerShell, to support automation and administration tasks • Solid understanding of database performance optimisation, backup strategies, and high availability solutions
