📋 Description

• Develop relationships with engineering firms and municipalities to position Ferguson as the preferred engineered plastics partner • Provide technical guidance on HDPE piping systems and industry standards • Support engineering firms with system design, pipe sizing, and routing recommendations • Assist engineers in improving project specifications • Develop value-engineered solutions to improve project performance • Prepare technical submittals and documentation for project approvals • Support Ferguson sales teams during project development phases • Conduct engineering presentations and educational workshops • Maintain technical expertise in HDPE and relevant standards • Partner with fabrication facilities to develop engineered solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering subject area required • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure • Minimum 5 years of engineering or technical experience supporting industrial piping systems • Experience with HDPE piping systems preferred • Working knowledge of ASTM, AWWA, ASME, FM, NSF, PPI, and applicable industry standards • Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents • Strong understanding of fabrication methods and thermoplastic joining technologies • AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering software experience preferred
