📋 Description

• Backend engineering for a platform handling hundreds of millions of API calls daily for 4,000+ enterprise customers • Work in an advanced Ruby ecosystem including a custom Ruby framework and a distributed job system • Push Ruby beyond Rails and contribute across the stack (Golang, Python, Java) • Own features end-to-end: design, implement, deploy, and support services • Collaborate with infrastructure, frontend, and product teams • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering standards • Optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability • Participate in projects like AI-powered content discovery, zero-trust file sharing, next-gen sync, observability at scale

🎯 Requirements

• Seasoned Back End Ruby Engineers with strong backgrounds in data structures, algorithms, and scaling • Experience with Ruby beyond Rails, internal frameworks, distributed job systems, Redis, Elasticsearch • Experience integrating with providers like S3 and Azure • Familiarity with microservices, Redis, Elasticsearch, proprietary infrastructure, and large-scale integrations • Ability to ship production code in Ruby, Golang, Java, Python, and JavaScript • Experience designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting services end-to-end • Experience identifying bottlenecks and optimizing performance, reliability, and maintainability • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, RSpec, Minitest, Bundler, Factory Bot
