📋 Description

• Guide a cross-functional team of 5–10 engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA • Build teams that ship products creating value for hundreds of thousands of European businesses • Challenge problem framing with the Product Manager and ensure the team solves the right problems • Focus on business outcomes, ROI, retention, conversion, and value-versus-effort prioritization • Make technical decisions through explicit trade-offs and unblock the team when needed • Balance feature delivery with technical debt and scalability while maintaining delivery pace • Run 1:1s, create growth plans, and own hiring and promotions • Build engaged teams through feedback and coaching • Improve team productivity through better tools, smarter processes, and fewer bottlenecks • Drive predictable delivery with Product and Design through proactive communication about priorities, risks, and constraints • Encourage healthy debate and support disagree-and-commit decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development building data-intensive production systems • Proven track record leading cross-functional engineering teams • Hands-on experience with at least one general-purpose language and platform: C#/.NET, Java/JVM, JavaScript/Node, or Go • Deep technical knowledge of distributed architectures, databases, messaging, and queueing systems • Experience in product-led organizations, ideally with international scope • Strong business acumen connecting engineering work to revenue, retention, and trust • Comfort with product metrics such as DAU/MAU, retention, and conversion funnels • Exceptional communication in English across all audiences • Builder's mentality focused on shipping great products and growing great teams • Backend technology knowledge including .NET Core, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Kubernetes • Familiarity with React, Swift/Kotlin, Python/ML frameworks, and modern QA tools
