• Own the day-to-day legal queue • Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and standard commercial agreements, including partnership agreements, amendments, renewals, order forms, SOWs, and subscriptions • Answer legal and contract queries from HR, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, IT, and other business teams • Handle standard vendor engagements and draft DPAs using established playbooks • Own data subject access requests and other data subject rights requests • Review vendor DPAs and standard clauses and conduct transfer and one-time assessments • Maintain privacy records, including the RoPA • Prepare standard employment documentation and respond to routine HR queries • Support corporate housekeeping and prepare corporate documents for senior review • Review marketing and content for claims, disclaimers, and third-party IP • Provide first-pass legal answers and research to non-lawyers, resolving in-scope matters and escalating complex issues • Maintain contract registers, trackers, the PoA register, template library, Jira, Zip, and Google Drive records • Build and maintain templates, playbooks, and FAQs • Report directly to the Head of Corporate Legal Affairs and work with a small senior legal team
• Law degree from a recognised university (LL.B., LL.M. or local equivalent) • 0–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, in-house legal team, or regulatory body; substantive trainee and internship experience counts • Demonstrable exposure to corporate or commercial contracting, employment law, data protection and GDPR, or IP • Fluent in professional English, written and spoken • Organised and able to manage a high-volume queue • Comfortable framing ambiguous legal questions independently • Pragmatic and commercial approach • Willingness to handle high-volume standard work during the first 12–18 months • Clear communication and ability to give and receive feedback • Bar admission welcome but not required
