📋 Description
• Drive high availability and disaster recovery strategies for core banking systems • Define and execute the scalability roadmap • Perform query optimization and execution plan analysis • Build and manage scalable strategies for database infrastructure • Design monitoring architecture and define SLIs/SLOs for database health • Implement banking-grade security practices • Collaborate with product teams for database schema changes • Mentor and set technical standards for the DBA function
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA in high-load, production environments (preferably Fintech or mission-critical systems) • Advanced knowledge of index design (B-tree, GIN, GiST, BRIN), partitioning, and vacuum tuning • Proven experience designing streaming replication, clustering, and automated backup validation • Hands-on experience with cloud-managed PostgreSQL (specifically GCP) and Linux systems administration • Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD workflows (GitLab, ArgoCD) • Strong SQL skills • Experience building monitoring and alerting for databases (Prometheus/Grafana) • Fluent in English
