📋 Description
• Own Database Reliability through high availability and disaster recovery strategies. • Architect for Scale by defining and executing scalability roadmap. • Optimize Performance with deep-dive query optimization and proactive bottleneck remediation. • Design Infrastructure for scalable inference, connection pooling, and robust backup systems. • Establish Observability by designing monitoring architecture and defining SLIs/SLOs. • Champion Security by implementing banking-grade security practices. • Partner across Engineering to ensure database changes support high-load environment. • Lead by Example through mentoring and standards definition.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA in high-load, production environments. • Deep PostgreSQL expertise including advanced knowledge of index design, partitioning, and vacuum tuning. • Proven experience with cloud-managed PostgreSQL and Linux systems administration. • Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD workflows. • Strong SQL skills, expertise in complex queries and stored procedures. • Experience building monitoring and alerting for databases with Prometheus/Grafana. • Fluent in English.
