📋 Description

• Adopt a Security First approach and take ownership of cloud security • Build, maintain, and assist with cloud deployments using Azure and DigitalOcean • Architect cloud and network infrastructure while balancing current needs with future scalability • Maintain and build developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines • Optimize cloud and tooling spend to improve fund allocation and developer productivity • Support the engineering team with deploying and maintaining live workloads • Collaborate with IT and security teams to manage engineering requirements • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on cloud-related matters • Build and maintain monitoring solutions for deployed services across the stack • Serve as an expert on cloud, automation, and DevOps best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of cloud providers, especially Azure Cloud Services • Experience with Kubernetes • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tooling, especially Terraform • Expertise in GitHub Workflows • Good knowledge of monitoring and alerting solutions, including Sentry and Datadog • Good understanding of containerisation technologies and serverless platforms, including Docker and Azure Container Apps • Good understanding of Linux • Excellent knowledge of security best practices, with a focus on cloud and networking • Proactive and flexible mindset; ability to achieve objectives independently while adjusting priorities according to need • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments • Preferred: exposure to Data Engineering, including Airflow and Snowflake, and database management • Preferred: experience working in regulated environments, particularly financial institutions • Preferred: experience in incident management and setting • Preferred: passion for DevEx and building efficient tooling for developers; DORA metrics experience is a plus
