β’ Generate new opportunities in-market through distributor engagement, trade shows, and end-user interaction. β’ Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Care to support channel growth. β’ Lead, coach, and develop distribution-focused sales resources by setting clear expectations, reinforcing priorities, and providing ongoing feedback. β’ Translate channel strategy into clear direction for internal stakeholders, ensuring focus, alignment, and accountability. β’ Mentor team members on channel management, customer engagement, and value-based selling within distribution. β’ Support performance management through goal setting, progress reviews, and development planning aligned to business objectives. β’ Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement across sales and cross-functional teams. β’ Serve as a role model for Fischer values, demonstrating professionalism, collaboration, responsiveness, personal and mindful leadership. β’ Travel as required, approximately 50%, across the US.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience β’ 5+ years of relevant experience with distribution and/or broker management in the foodservice industry β’ Experience in packaging is a plus β’ Proven success leading, mentoring, or influencing cross-functional or sales teams β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers via phone, video call, email, and in-person β’ Proficiency with Zoom or other virtual meeting platform, and Microsoft Office applications β’ Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platform β’ Self-motivated with positive and persistent attitude β’ Strong problem solving skills while working both independently and as a team player within a complex sales network.
