📋 Description

• Lead and execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently. • Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs. • Perform and review structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions. • Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability, and sustainability standards. • Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards. • Support cost estimation for materials. • Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes, technologies, and advancements in the precast-prestressed field. • Promote, utilize, and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables. • Mentor junior staff and support their technical development.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s preferred • 10 plus years of experience in precast concrete design engineering for transportation infrastructure and underground structures (utility vaults, manholes, drainage structures, and pump stations). • Familiarity with ACI 318, ACI 350, ASCE-7, AASHTO • Familiarity with IBC codes a plus • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it • Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D • Professional performance standards aligned with Fisher’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values. • Proven ability to deliver quality work through critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment • Driven to own projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment • Highly adaptable and proactive in meeting deliverables and deadlines. • Dedicated to fostering trusting relationships through collaboration, integrity, respect, and active listening • Curious, improvement-minded, and always seeking better solutions • Embrace feedback constructively and use it as an opportunity for growth.
