📋 Description

• Identify security system weaknesses, using penetration tests • Coordinate monitoring of networks or systems for security breaches or intrusions • Scan networks, using vulnerability assessment tools to identify vulnerabilities • Develop response and recovery strategies for security breaches

🎯 Requirements

• Have 5+ years full-time work experience • Native-level English skills • U.S. residency • Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet. • Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule). • Develop information security standards and best practices • Implement software tools to assist in the detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats • Provide technical support to computer users for installation and use of security products

🏖️ Benefits

• Hourly pay: $32 – $46, commensurate with experience and project fit. • Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates • Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours. • You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will. • Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
