• Use expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of a Penetration Tester. • Explain what excellence looks like in the profession. • Design questions related to the occupation as a Penetration Tester. • Perform network, web application, API, and cloud penetration tests end-to-end. • Build clear, prioritized remediation reports. • Collaborate across product, engineering, and security teams. • Conduct threat modeling and attack-path analysis to identify high-risk business impact.
• Have 5+ years full-time work experience and project fit. • Native-level English skills • U.S. residency • Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet. • Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule). • Offensive Security certifications • Background in red teaming, purple teaming, or adversary emulation engagements • Exposure to mobile application security testing
• Hourly pay: $32 – $73, commensurate with experience and project fit. • Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates • Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours. • You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will. • Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
