📋 Description

• The Fleetio Engineering Team is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering efforts. • You will lead the platform engineering team that handles SRE, Infrastructure, and Developer Experience. • You will influence the platform engineering vision, setting goals, hiring engineering talent, and driving platform engineering efforts. • You will collaborate with engineering leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to provide reliable service to our customers and a great developer experience. • Develop our engineering talent and grow their careers at Fleetio! • Fleetio is a modern software platform that helps organizations manage their fleet operations. • Fleetio raised $450M in Series D in March of 2025 and is on an exciting trajectory!

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading Engineering Teams as a Manager or as a Director • Proven expertise in leading SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering teams • Experience with AWS (or Azure), Cloud Native tooling, and Infrastructure as Code • Experience managing and supporting infrastructure for web applications • Solid expertise in the latest development, build, test, and deploy practices that drive agility, consistent delivery, and quality • Strong passion and track record of attracting, developing, and retaining engineers • Experience utilizing APM tools to monitor and troubleshoot issues • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Be sure to mention "coffee" in your application so we know you read this
