📋 Description
• Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction(s). • Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions, whenever appropriate. • Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs. • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment. • Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories). • Overhaul, troubleshoot and repair diesel and gasoline engines. • Perform basic aluminum and steel wire welding.
🎯 Requirements
• 7 + years of experience with repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers • Diagnostic experience • Training experience • Welding • Air Brake Certified • Valid driver’s license with good driving record required • Class A CDL is preferred, but not required • Must provide hand tools, air tools, and toolbox • Ability to lift 50lbs.
