📋 Description
• Lead the end-to-end group consolidation process for Flutterwave's global entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements • Develop and implement consolidation policies, procedures, and tools to streamline the financial consolidation process across multiple jurisdictions • Partner with regional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial information for consolidation purposes • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and related disclosures • Manage a team of consolidation professionals, providing mentorship and technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process • Support M&A activities by providing consolidation expertise during due diligence and post-merger integration
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting and consolidation, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role • Experience working with multinational organizations and managing consolidation across multiple jurisdictions • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams • Experience with major ERP systems and consolidation tools
