📋 Description

• Create immersive environments: design and develop expansive maps for large-scale environments and perform set dressing of points of interest (POIs) on the maps. • Prototyping and content planning: collaborate closely with level designers to prototype designs, refine concepts into optimized modular sets, plan level content, prevent overscoping, and estimate task durations. • Maintain quality standards: ensure environments meet artistic and technical quality standards, monitor optimization, and enforce naming conventions and proper storage of source assets. • Cross-team collaboration: work closely with the Art Director, level designers, and 3D/prop artists to ensure seamless collaboration and interdisciplinary alignment. • Innovation and knowledge sharing: develop, use, and share tools and techniques to improve visual quality and optimize workflows; document workflows for internal sharing among artists and other departments.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with game engines • Knowledge of importing and setting up assets in the engine • Familiarity with in-engine set-dressing tools • Experience with landscape tools • Strong artistic skills: ability to interpret reference images or concept art and accurately recreate them in 3D • Good sense of scale and composition • Keen eye for color and material definition • 3D skills for creating accurate blockout models • Experience converting blockouts into usable modular sets • Proficiency in high-to-low poly workflows • UV unwrapping, baking, and texturing experience • Experience working with trim sheets • Solid modeling skills to create high-quality architectural and organic models • Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset • Affinity for World War I themes • Passion for gaming • Experience with SVN • Experience with Unity 6 HDRP pipeline • Lighting and shader knowledge • Familiarity with artistic tools and sculpting • Material creation experience
