📋 Description

• Design, build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform as the primary IaC tool • Develop and own CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for both infrastructure and application deployments • Automate provisioning, configuration and lifecycle management across multiple client environments and subscriptions • Implement and enforce security, governance and compliance baselines covering Azure Policy, RBAC, Key Vault, networking and landing zones • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise performance, reliability and cost of Azure workloads • Act as senior technical escalation point for Azure, Terraform and DevOps practices • Coordinate workload and prioritisation across the team, conduct code and architecture reviews • Work closely with Solution Architects and the Head of Cloud Operations on solution design, migrations and customer onboarding • Participate in on-call / out-of-hours rota.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven, in-depth experience engineering and operating Microsoft Azure environments in production • Extensive Terraform experience - writing, structuring and maintaining modules, state management, workspaces and remote backends • Strong DevOps background, including CI/CD pipeline design, Git-based workflows and release automation • Demonstrable experience leading or mentoring engineers, setting technical direction and coordinating team delivery • Solid scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash or Python • A sound understanding of Azure networking, identity (Entra ID), security and governance • Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical, root-cause approach to problems.
