📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead for the project, owning solution design decisions, guiding implementation standards, and mentoring engineers through coaching, reviews, and knowledge sharing. • Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL pipelines using Databricks for scalable, high-performance data integration across multiple source systems. • Implement and optimize medallion architecture in Databricks with raw, curated, and trusted data zones for governed enterprise-wide reporting. • Develop and refine dimensional data models for unified, analytics-ready business-domain views, automated dashboarding, and KPI frameworks. • Collaborate with data stewards, IT, and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions, clarify dependencies, and drive alignment. • Contribute to architectural decisions by recommending best practices, challenging assumptions, and ensuring data platform durability and flexibility. • Identify and address integration challenges, data quality issues, and process bottlenecks, providing actionable insights and raising project risks or inefficiencies. • Support knowledge transfer and documentation so colleagues and clients can independently maintain and evolve data solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on Databricks development experience; relevant certifications required with proof attached. • Proven ability to build, optimize, and troubleshoot production-grade ETL pipelines. • Experience designing and implementing medallion data models with raw, curated, and trusted zones in Databricks. • Strong dimensional modeling skills for business intelligence, reporting, and single-source-of-truth requirements. • Advanced proficiency orchestrating data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows across multiple systems and formats. • Ability to understand operational requirements, translate them into technical deliverables, and communicate business impact. • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects forward in ambiguous or evolving contexts. • Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, and related services experience preferred but not required. • Experience with human-centric design principles and Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau preferred. • Proactive, constructive communication skills and confidence providing feedback, challenging assumptions, and advocating best practices. • Alignment with OZ Digital’s values and participation in a culture of mutual support, continuous improvement, and openness to new ideas. • Ability to provide insights and push back constructively when necessary.
