• Continuous Discovery: Lead the upstream phase, identifying problems, validating hypotheses, and refining the backlog before development. Work closely with Product Designers to explore customer understanding (research, field studies) and design high-value solutions. • Market Analysis: Perform ongoing benchmarking against competitors and use market research data to inform Salesforce product strategy. • Roadmap Development: Break down the high-level business strategy into an actionable feature roadmap. Collect requirements, negotiate feature priorities with the business area, and plan releases. • Business Alignment: Ensure what is built in Salesforce meets the company’s strategic objectives. Act with diplomacy to negotiate priorities, timelines, and scope. • Expectation and Risk Management: Identify strategic risks and manage stakeholders’ expectations regarding outcomes and delivered features. • Partner Orchestration: Collaborate with the partner supplier’s Product Owner (PO) and Scrum Master (SM). While the partner focuses on tactical work (planning iterations, user stories, and ceremonies), you lead release planning, explain complex business rules, and validate/accept final deliveries.
• Communication and Language: Advanced or Fluent English. Proven ability to interact, present results, and conduct negotiations with international teams and stakeholders. • Product Experience: Established experience as a Product Manager, with strong work in Upstream (Discovery, ideation, hypothesis validation, and prototyping). • Salesforce Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Salesforce Core (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform). Ability to discern when to use native (out-of-the-box) solutions versus complex customizations. • Agility and Operating Models: Practical experience with Dual-Track Agile (Discovery and Delivery in parallel) and product metrics (OKRs, KPIs). • Interpersonal Skills: Diplomatic profile, with excellent negotiation skills, executive communication, and ease transitioning between business and technology. • Third-Party Management: Experience working in mixed-squad models (teams composed of internal employees and partner/software factory members). • Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant). • AI-first Mindset: Experience or interest in applying Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Salesforce Einstein) as a lever for speed and hyper-personalization. • Practical knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and facilitation of co-creation workshops.
