📋 Description
• Own and drive the company-wide strategy for how Artificial Intelligence is integrated, adopted, and scaled across every part of our business. • Oversee our AI R&D efforts, including management of our AI Engineering team, prioritizing, guiding and scoping AI explorations. • Operate at the intersection of engineering, R&D, game studios, creative operations, and business leadership. • Define Fortis’ AI strategy and roadmap, setting clear priorities that align technical feasibility with business ROI. • Lead and manage AI R&D, guiding a technical team toward high-impact, commercially meaningful outcomes. • Translate ambiguous cross-functional problems into clear requirements. • Drive org-wide adoption of AI workflows, ensuring new tools and systems are actually used, not just delivered. • Establish success metrics and measurement frameworks.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong technical fluency in AI/ML concepts - able to debate architecture, evaluate tradeoffs, and challenge assumptions without needing to code. • Proven experience leading 0→1, cross-functional initiatives with measurable, org-wide outcomes. • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and behavior change, not just build tools or ship features. • Deep understanding of creative or production workflows, ideally including game development pipelines (art, engineering, content). • Exceptional strategic decision-making, balancing long-term vision with tactical prioritization in ambiguous environments. • Credibility with both technical and creative teams, with strong communication skills and stakeholder alignment instincts. • Entrepreneurial bias for action, comfortable operating in a fast-moving, unstructured environment without relying on process or hierarchy. • Low-ego, high-ownership mindset, focused on outcomes, clarity, and collaboration rather than politicking or title-driven leadership.
