• Follow up on daily purchase orders (POs) to suppliers • Obtain and track PO confirmations to ensure alignment on: • Delivery dates • Quantities • Pricing • Escalate unconfirmed or delayed responses in a timely manner • Maintain accurate documentation of supplier commitments • Proactively request and update supplier lead times • Validate and communicate any changes in lead time to Buyer Planners • Gather and confirm updated pricing from suppliers as needed • Support data accuracy in ERP system (JDE) • Support Buyer Planners in managing material shortages • Proactively follow up with suppliers on past-due or at-risk orders • Expedite purchase orders based on production priorities • Provide clear status updates on critical parts • Create, update, and maintain Kanban cards as ad-hoc • Support ad-hoc supply chain related activities • Maintain organized records of supplier communications • Assist with data cleanup, reporting, and system updates • Collaborate with Buyers, Production, and Planning teams
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred) • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing support roles • Strong communication and follow-up skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Experience working with ERP systems (JDE preferred) • Understanding of Supply Chain, MRP, or Kanban systems • Experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment.
