• Actively promote Fluke products to achieve sales quota by establishing rapport, providing training and support, and making end user calls. • Become a local authority in Fluke products and solutions. • Understand industrial applications and processes. • Collaborate with other sales and marketing team members to prepare responses to proposals, provide product demonstrations and training, and address end-user customer needs. • Optimally use company resources, including the customer relationship management system (Dynamics CRM), data analytics (Power BI), and other tools from the Microsoft Suite. • Collaborate with local distribution partners to drive growth at the end user level. • Able to work remotely out of a home office with the capacity to travel to end-user sites within territory (approx. 50% overnight travel, depending on location) • Can conduct remote meetings and use technology to connect with customers and others. • Proficient at using LinkedIn to find new prospects. • Build lasting relationships with local distributors and end users to provide solutions to their problems using an array of Fluke equipment, software & services. • Provide support for a variety of distributor and customer events including trade shows, seminars, and onsite training, etc. • Leverage the use of internal Fluke support teams to effectively grow your territory.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or Business or 4-year technical degree equivalent. • 5-7 years’ experience in a related sales role, technical sales experience is a nice to have. • Communicate effectively with customers. • Ability to operate independently to achieve goals working in a fast-paced multidimensional environment requiring time management, creativity and independent judgment. • Skilled use in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Teams, and a CRM platform. • Must live within the Louisiana, Southern Mississippi territory. Preferably Baton Rouge, LA area. • Must be able to lift 30 pounds daily.
