📋 Description
• Define the automation testing strategy for a modern scientific data platform. • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Python. • Validate complex data loading, transformation, and ingestion workflows. • Verify data integrity, consistency, completeness, and quality across multiple systems. • Automate testing of APIs, backend services, and data processing components. • Validate ETL/data movement processes and large-scale scientific datasets. • Execute automated regression, integration, API, and end-to-end tests. • Analyse test results, identify defects, and collaborate on root cause analysis. • Work closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, QA, and Business Analysts. • Produce and maintain GMP/GxP-compliant test documentation. • Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and platform quality.
🎯 Requirements
• Experience with automation testing and automated test script development. • Scripting experience in Python. • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and X-Ray. • Working knowledge of GMP/GXP requirements. • Experience with validated systems or regulated software environments. • Ability to analyze test results and follow defects through to resolution. • Clear written documentation skills. • Nice to have: Knowledge of DSCS and DPTM. • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another GMP/GXP-regulated industry. • Performance testing experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. • Relevant testing or QA certifications.
