📋 Description

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential threats and anomalies • Perform initial triage, classification, and severity assessment of security alerts • Investigate security incidents using defined playbooks • Support incident response by collecting and documenting relevant technical information • Escalate complex or confirmed incidents to Cyber Security Engineers or the Rapid Response team • Collaborate with cross-functional teams • Coordinate containment and remediation actions with on-site IT support and infrastructure teams • Maintain structured documentation of incidents, investigations, and outcomes • Contribute feedback to improve security operations and alerts • Ensure timely communication and effective handovers

🎯 Requirements

• First experience in IT, IT security, or a SOC environment • Strong interest in cyber security, threat analysis, and incident response • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience • Basic understanding of common cyber attack techniques, threats, and indicators of compromise • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including networks, operating systems, and cloud • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM or endpoint protection solutions • Ability to analyze logs and security events • Basic scripting or query skills, such as KQL, SQL, or PowerShell, are an advantage • Willingness to work in a process-driven environment • Motivation to continuously develop technical and analytical skills • Strong analytical and communication skills • Attention to detail and collaborative mindset • Fluent English required • Additional languages, especially German, are a plus
