📋 Description

• Handle multifaceted claims that require strong investigative skills and a deep understanding of insurance regulations • Analyze coverage, evaluating damages, and preparing action plans • Mentor less experienced adjusters, assist with training, and respond to catastrophic weather events as needed • Verify facts of loss, analyze coverage, and adjust the entire claim • Contact insureds to schedule property inspections and keep them informed throughout the claim process • Determine the method and extent of investigation, review investigative materials, and document all claim actions • Apply advanced negotiation skills to resolve disputed claims, attend mediations, and coordinate the appraisal process • Serve as a mentor to less experienced adjusters and assist with training and development

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in P&C Insurance, with strong knowledge of Florida insurance regulations and claims practices • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly • Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under stress • Maintain a Florida 520 License and obtain licenses in Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, if not currently possessed • A four-year college degree is preferred, along with prior experience with an insurance carrier or agency
