📋 Description
• Design, implement, and manage ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines from ERP/SQL sources into BigQuery. • Administer and optimize Google Cloud Assured Workload FedRAMP environment, including Dataflow, Data Transfer Service, and BigQuery. • Develop and maintain LookML semantic models to support self-service analytics and conversational analysis in Looker. • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all systems. • Collaborate with business teams to translate reporting needs into scalable data models. • Monitor system performance, optimize queries, and automate workflows. • Own the full data lifecycle: ingestion, transformation, semantic modeling, and visualization.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server). • Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform tools: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Data Transfer Service. • Experience with Looker and LookML. • Proficiency in Python or Java for data engineering tasks. • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (VPN, VPC) for secure data transfers. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • U.S. Citizenship required due to client environment compliance.
