• Demonstrate extensive technical knowledge of required operating system(s) • Perform in areas of design, development, project management or implementation of technology or equipment. • Ensure data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backup operations. • Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. • Support media management through internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services. • Develop and promote standard operating procedures. • Ensure server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. • Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines. • Research new technologies, products and services. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation • Provide direction and guidance to Help Desk personnel in the handling and assignment of calls.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • 4-6 years of IT experience in Windows Systems Administration, O365, and endpoint security. • Must be a self-starter and able to start, execute and complete projects on their own with minimal supervision • Must provide concise and clear documentation for all technical projects and follow-up procedures and processes. • Highly self-motivated and directed • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. • Certifications in VMWare / SAN, Linux or Microsoft Windows certification or equivalent knowledge
