📋 Description

• Represent Fulkrum and its clients in field QC Inspector activities • Conduct visual inspections of commodities according to qualifications and experience • Review material test certificates and verify compliance • Witness and verify Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) • Perform pre-shipment inspections and ensure readiness for dispatch • Conduct inspections based on Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) • Review client-provided ITPs and method statements and resolve discrepancies • Plan and execute inspections using documented procedures • Create, review and submit detailed field inspection reports within 24 hours • Report all findings and issue Non-Conformance Certificates when applicable • Maintain confidentiality of inspection data and share findings with authorized client representatives • Identify subcontracted test results in reports • Ensure adherence to Client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) • Verify inspection equipment calibration and traceability to recognized national or international standards • Participate in internal audits and provide management review input on inspection outcomes and process improvements • Alert management to conflicts of interest or undue pressures affecting impartiality • Maintain Independence, Impartiality, Integrity and Confidentiality in line with ISO/IEC 17020 principles • Support Fulkrum and international clients on assignments across Japan as contacted based on location, discipline, certifications, client requirements and availability

🎯 Requirements

• Degree, Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Engineering or a related discipline • Strong practical experience in Quality Control, Vendor Inspection or Third-Party Inspection • Previous experience supporting international clients and/or inspection agencies would be advantageous • Experience across Oil & Gas, energy, heavy industry, power generation, offshore wind or related industrial sectors is particularly welcome • Relevant professional certifications depending on discipline, including COMPEX, ATEX, CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI, BGAS Grade 2, AMPP/NACE Level 2, SSPC Level 2, ASNT Level II or equivalent • API certifications are desirable for relevant inspection disciplines • Strong knowledge of ASME, ASNT, API, NACE and related industry standards • Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment in hazardous area environments • Extensive Oil & Gas inspection experience across onshore and offshore projects • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17020 and inspection quality management procedures • Strong communication and client-facing skills • Ability to work independently and represent Fulkrum professionally at client and vendor locations • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments • Flexible, proactive and responsive to changing business needs • Ability to provide clear and timely inspection reports • Based in Japan • Availability for project-based and ad hoc assignments
