📋 Description

• Join Future's Subscriptions Team as a Senior Developer, working closely with our Technology & Engineering department to deliver scalable, efficient, and well-structured web applications. • Take ownership of new and existing projects — from architecting and building greenfield solutions using the latest tools and practices, to enhancing and maintaining current systems. • Collaborate across teams to plan, scope, and deliver new services and features that drive our subscriptions platform forward. • Design, develop, and optimise applications and components for our subscriptions platform. • Lead on architecture decisions, code quality, and system scalability. • Refactor existing code, write automated tests (unit, integration, E2E), and ensure reliable deployments. • Collaborate with Tech Leads to define scope, monitor performance, and meet KPIs. • Support and mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance. • Contribute to hack days and guilds, sharing best practices and exploring new technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with PHP and MVC practices • Experienced with modern JS / TypeScript • Experience building performant components in modern JS frameworks. • Committed to development consistency and coding standards. • Solid understanding of Git workflows. • Experienced in working with data from APIs and databases. • Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies. • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Experience with containerised development (e.g. Docker). • Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical teams.
