📋 Description

• Own the technical design of Configuration Management capabilities within a complex, multi-vendor Core Network environment, ensuring scalability and resilience • Lead a delivery squad by setting direction and reviewing design while the team handles day-to-day platform coding • Make and defend technical decisions before the customer's Core Engineering team • Translate operator change practices, including change windows, CMDB updates, and rollback expectations, into automated, auditable gates • Own vendor and data-model engagement across Ericsson, Huawei, and other in-scope vendors, including YANG modules and NETCONF exports • Serve as the technical escalation point for the account, covering vendor engagement, lab access, and integration with the customer's change-management systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience • Solid experience running a Configuration Management tooling stack for mobile Core, such as Cisco NSO, HPE Service Director, Ericsson ENM, or an equivalent platform • Experience with golden configurations, drift detection, and templating • Track record managing configuration changes on live Core environments, including change windows, governance, rollback strategy, post-change KPI validation, and 24x7 operational discipline • Working fluency with NETCONF and YANG, including hands-on use of get-config and edit-config against live nodes and ability to read schema deviations • Hands-on experience with at least one 5G SA Core from Ericsson, Nokia, or Huawei • Conceptual grounding across 5G SBA and 4G EPC architecture • Track record leading a delivery squad through customer-facing service delivery, integration, or a first-of-kind deployment • Fluent English • Working Spanish is a strong plus • Nice-to-have skills are not mandatory on day one: GitOps operations; YANG toolchain such as libyang, pyang, or yangdiff; reading-level Python; Kubernetes literacy; multi-element orchestration; 3GPP interface familiarity; Tier-1 European operator experience; VoLTE/IMS exposure; or IETF/3GPP/ETSI standards work
