📋 Description
• Investigates, evaluates and brings to timely resolution an inventory of complex construction defect claims • Understands construction defect coverage issues and interprets construction contracts • Manages litigation proactively and works with defense counsel and insureds • Prepares reports detailing claim status, payments and reserves • Engages in timely communication with relevant parties
🎯 Requirements
• Ten (10) years of construction defect claims adjusting experience • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience • Proper adjuster licenses in Florida and other states • Strong knowledge of construction defect claims handling and insurance policies • Ability to evaluate and respond to time limit demands and consumer complaints • Experience with litigation and negotiations
