📋 Description

• Advise private customers independently, professionally, and with sufficient time for meaningful conversations • Advise on and place property and casualty, health, and life insurance by phone and video • Assess needs, explain recommendations, and support applications, including disability insurance and private health insurance • Conduct annual reviews with existing customers • Carry out protection reviews following life events such as moving, buying a home, or changing jobs • Conduct onboarding calls with new customers • Proactively approach customers with identifiable gaps in their insurance coverage • Document advice and records in accordance with Sections 61 and 62 of the German Insurance Contract Act (VVG), using templates and AI support • Optionally take on commercial property and casualty insurance, occupational pension schemes (bAV), or company health insurance (bKV) as dedicated modules at a later stage • Work closely with management • Work around structured occasions such as annual reviews, policy expirations, and life events • Claims handling and day-to-day ticket operations are not part of this role

🎯 Requirements

• Completed training in insurance, for example as an insurance and finance clerk or an insurance specialist certified by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) • Hands-on experience advising and placing insurance for private customers • Confident in at least two of the three personal lines: property and casualty, health, and life • Willingness to regularly take appointments in the late afternoon and early evening • Meticulous approach to disclosure obligations, documentation, and customer preferences • Knowledge of advisory and documentation obligations under the VVG and IDD • Knowledge of the continuing education requirement under Section 34d of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO) • Enjoy speaking with customers by phone and video • Structured and self-directed working style • Willingness to use digital tools and AI as support • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken • Claims management or back-office experience alone is not sufficient; hands-on experience advising private customers is required • Preferred but not required: experience with commercial customers, occupational pension schemes (bAV), or company health insurance (bKV) • Preferred but not required: experience with broker management systems, VEMA, and insurance comparison tools • Preferred but not required: advanced qualification as a specialist in insurance and finance
