📋 Description

• Direct the staging, configuration, provisioning, and production integration of all new metro network assets (e.g., core routers, edge switches, optical transport equipment, and out-of-band management systems). • Lead, mentor, and scale a regional team of Network Deployment Engineers, providing technical guidance and career development. • Act as the primary regional point of contact for Network Architecture, Capacity Planning, Logistics/Supply Chain, and Data Center Operations to align deployment schedules with business growth. • Partner with hardware vendors and third-party integrators to resolve hardware/firmware bugs discovered during staging and commissioning phases. • Directing regional CAPEX and OPEX allocations with strict oversight, ensuring high-yield infrastructure investments, negotiating cost-efficient vendor contracts, and enforcing rigorous financial accountability across regional deployment teams to maximize network profitability and resource efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. • 5 years in network engineering, infrastructure deployment, or data center engineering. • Experience staging and commissioning enterprise or service provider-grade routing and switching platforms (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Nokia). • Experience with core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN, and physical layer technologies (fiber optics, DWDM, transceivers).
