âą Consistently deliver high level of customer service and traveller satisfaction âą Provide leadership for travellers and be responsible for their well-being âą Increase knowledge about visited countries, cultures, current affairs âą Act as day-to-day guide, interpreter and manager of the group âą Deal with traveller's issues and concerns for satisfaction âą Maintain travel itinerary and make necessary changes âą Make or reconfirm reservations for accommodation, transportation, and activities âą Assist travellers during optional activities and meals âą Train new Leaders as needed
âą A Love for Adventure Travel: Previous experience living, travelling, studying or working abroad âą Language skills: Good command of the English language and region specific language is important âą Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills: Experience in leadership roles, effective communication âą Resourcefulness: Ability to remain calm and collected under stress âą Commitment to Sustainable Tourism: Be an example to travelers in responsible tourism âą Good Health and High Energy Level: Manage daily stresses of travel âą First Aid/CPR Certification: Required to assist with emergencies âą Background in basic accounting/budgeting: Experience with budgets is an asset âą Computer literacy: Knowledge of Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Word, and Excel is essential
