📋 Description

• Provide thought leadership and technical direction to the data engineering team • Understand and translate business requirements to data strategies • Design, develop and enforce standards for data storage and processing • Work closely with architects to align data engineering practices • Develop, document and maintain an overall view of data platform architecture • Provide training for data engineers and developers • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of overall experience in big data, database and enterprise data architecture • Delivery and programming proficiency in Python, Java, and Scala • 5+ years of experience architecting and maintaining enterprise data lake platforms • 3+ years of experience implementing cloud-based systems (AWS and/or Databricks preferred) • Strong SQL skills • Broad knowledge of data technologies and disciplines
