📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle for multiple entities across multiple countries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under SFRS/IFRS and US GAAP where applicable • Maintain the chart of accounts and integrity of financial records and reconciliations • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury operations • Handle GST filings, corporate tax, and statutory reporting with IRAS and ACRA • Coordinate with external tax agents as needed • Manage the annual audit and act as primary contact for external auditors • Design and enforce internal controls, finance policies, and approval workflows • Oversee payroll, CPF contributions, and employee expense processes • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-runway planning; proactively flag risks • Partner with founders and department leads on spend, unit economics, and vendor contracts • Use AI and automation tools to streamline close, reporting, and reconciliation • Support fundraising, investor reporting, and due-diligence requests

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field • CA (Singapore), ACCA, or CPA qualification highly preferred • Strong knowledge of SFRS and IFRS; US GAAP exposure is an advantage • Knowledge of GST, corporate tax, and Singapore statutory requirements • External or internal audit experience • Ability to design, implement, and enforce internal controls and finance processes from scratch • Hands-on experience running a full set of accounts independently • Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or NetSuite • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills • Ability to prioritise and work strategically and hands-on in ambiguity • Openness to AI tools and willingness to leverage them for efficiency • Web3, crypto, or digital-asset accounting exposure or interest is a strong plus, not required • Excellent attention to detail, ownership mindset, and clear communication
