📋 Description

• Own judgment-heavy quality analysis of annotated computer vision and machine learning data • Review daily annotation queues and produce in-house verdicts and root-cause analyses • Own, version, and refine verdict taxonomies, decision rules, and quality guidelines • Build and maintain performance trackers measuring error rates by facility, site, equipment, and data format over time • Detect baseline anomalies and flag them promptly • Distinguish annotation errors, model or system errors, and genuine field degradation • Report findings to engineering and ML with reproducible evidence and stated confidence • Identify systematic failure patterns and maintain a documented pattern library • Query and analyze annotation data using Python and SQL • Feed findings into SOP and annotation-instruction changes • Specify and validate annotation-tool improvements • Establish quality analysis and reporting for new annotation programs • Track work in Jira and contribute to pre-release validation • Initially support warehouse forklift vision, barcode readability, and localization analysis • Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers, QA, and Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience • 2–5 years of experience in ML QA, annotation quality, data quality, or analytics at an AI/ML company • Hands-on experience with annotated ML datasets, including assessing label quality • Demonstrated experience finding, diagnosing, and reporting data anomalies to a technical audience • Strong understanding of statistics and ability to work with data • Root cause analysis skills, including generating competing hypotheses and identifying separating evidence • Familiarity with Python and SQL, or equivalent, for independent data querying and analysis • Experience writing quality guidelines, decision rules, and labeling taxonomies • Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality requirements for customer operational data • Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently with unfamiliar data • Jira experience • Experience authoring annotation guidelines or standard operating procedures is preferred • Experience in warehouse automation, robotics, or computer vision applications is preferred
