📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and perform proactive maintenance on server equipment located in data centers • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, data center personnel, and customers to resolve hardware-related issues efficiently • Maintain accurate documentation of hardware configurations, changes, and issue resolutions • Contribute to developing and implementing hardware maintenance processes and best practices • Support Gcore’s infrastructure team in maintaining data center equipment and optimizing spare-parts stock

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT, with a focus on hardware support • Excellent understanding of server architecture and PC hardware components • Proven experience diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues to resolution • Basic Linux/Unix knowledge • Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts, including network devices, InfiniBand, IP addressing, DNS, gateways, MAC addresses, ping, ifconfig, and traceroute • Familiarity with GPU cluster hardware troubleshooting • Ability to independently identify and implement solutions for hardware-related challenges • Strong multitasking skills and effective time management abilities • Proficient English language skills (at least Intermediate level) • Familiarity with equipment from HP, Dell, Supermicro, Gigabyte, Arista, Cisco, and APC • In-depth understanding of network and server equipment operation and data center infrastructure • Experience with Bash, Python, and AI to automate tasks • Enthusiasm for process automation and a proactive approach to enhancing efficiency • Strong desire to learn and stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware and technology
