📋 Description
• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of edge infrastructure, including servers, networking, and a lot of infrastructure glue. • Ensure high availability, performance, and security hardening of the systems. • Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical direction, goals and support. • Implement and manage automation for system provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance. • Establish and enforce best practices for systems engineering, observability, and incident response. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including: product, RnD, network, security, and support. • Continuously improving configuration management, automation, observability, agentic workflows and tools. • Participate in on-call rotations and incident management as needed. • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure and processes.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong expertise in linux/*nix environments. • Proficiency in scripting/automation tools such as Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform. • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure. • Solid understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts. • Solid experience with agentic coding. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering/sre, with leadership or team lead experience for 3+ years. • Nice-to-have: Experience with Puppet, Prometheus, Grafana, Victoria Logs. • Knowledge of security and performance troubleshooting practices. • Experience in web security, AI in a wider sense. • Understanding BGP and related networking protocols. • Programming ability in C, Go, Python, or Rust.
