📋 Description

• Provide program instruction in an online format for the College of Education • Equip students with the required skill set • Facilitate classroom discussions • Assess student performance • Prepare students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums in the online classroom • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes • Respond to students’ questions and emails within established timeframes • Support the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University • Teach Instructional Planning and Assessments for Elementary Teachers, covering learning theories, culturally responsive lessons, diverse learner assessment, child and young adolescent development, self-reflection, goal setting, and quality work

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum: Masters in Education or Masters in Elementary Education or Masters in Curriculum and Instruction AND 2 areas of exceptional expertise • Valid state teacher certification in elementary education required • Minimum of three years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher, elementary instructional specialist, 1-8 team lead, 1-8 department chair, elementary curriculum coach, or new teacher mentor of 1-8 teachers • At least graduate credits related to assessment and lesson planning • Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Leadership, Elementary Education, Learning and Teaching, or Teaching Innovation
