• Oversee sales of the full Grid Automation (GA) portfolio, including products, services, solutions, and projects • Develop market strategies for DACH (acting as team lead for DACH), Eastern Europe, and CIS regions in collaboration with local sales teams and leaders • Manage forecasts in Salesforce (CRP) and deliver order intake and margin targets • Lead GA Sales Managers and Specialists, aligning them with regional strategy, business plans, and policies — approximately 20 FTEs across the region • Support the P&L leader in transforming the sales organization to be more focused on software and services sales; identify customers’ and industry businesses’ digitization needs • Shape go-to-market strategies, negotiate agreements, support tender managers, and drive customer negotiations • Identify new opportunities, support digital transformation toward software and services sales, and foster innovation with partners • Support Tender Managers in defining deal structure, assessing technical and commercial risks, setting pricing, and preparing proposals • Analyze internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably with a commercial/business focus • Strong commercial awareness, subject-matter expertise, and leadership skills to manage teams, interpret challenges, influence strategy, and communicate complex concepts clearly • Proven experience in product/software sales within the energy sector, with commercial customer knowledge and established relationships • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a sales team in a large international organization • Ability to understand and improve processes in a cross-functional environment • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus • Knowledge of pricing, cost management, and product accounting, with strong analytical skills • Experience conducting market assessments and implementing commercial strategies to enable market penetration • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (primarily DACH & Poland, with potential international travel)
