📋 Description

• Responsible for design and optimization in the development of nuclear fuel bundles in support of our existing fleet • Analysis supporting customers seeking asset enhancement • Support in the development of new nuclear fuel products • Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives for Fuel Cycle Analysis • Integrates and develops BWR fuel technology processes that meet business needs across the organization • Involved in long-term planning • Identify, develop, evaluate, and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long-range engineering needs • Provide technical consultation on product problems including providing technical guidance, direction, and training to new and experienced bundle & core design engineers • Contributing to developing and defining state-of-the-art bundle & core designs, procedures, and processing to improve engineering quality, performance, and market needs • Lead and provide the key technical direction to large projects with critical business impact • Maintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in own technical specialty in fuel cycle analysis to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science • At least 5 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market and manage programs that further the knowledge, understanding and capability of the business • Problem solving skills • Demonstrated leadership in defining the state of the art in at least one technical specialty, along with the ability to teach and set standard practices within core design and fuel cycle analysis
