📋 Description

• Oversee the control systems, automation, and instrumentation of our assets • Develop, implement, and optimize control strategies for plant operations • Actively participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to identify underlying issues affecting control systems performance • Contribute to Change-Modification-Upgrades (CMUs) to enhance performance and functionality of systems • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment • Manage AC and DC control systems • Maintain control interfaces and SCADA systems • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards • Shape the future of Solar and Storage Solutions, contributing to renewable energy landscape

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 10 years of experience with software & controls with high-level software languages • Strong knowledge of or familiarity with GE’s MarkVIe product family and GE’s Cimplicity software (SCADA), ToolBox ST & WorkStation ST • In-depth knowledge of battery systems and solar inverters • Proven experience in the solar business, with a solid background in renewable energy projects and operations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated implementation of controls or systems integration in products and field engineering experience • Knowledge of communication networks (NW switch, Router, Firewall, copper, FO) and their design • Familiarity with standard industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, EGD, IEC, and Modbus • Knowledge of power conversion systems and controls • Demonstrated expertise in energy storage controls, validation and verification, formal methods, systems integration, advanced controls or related technologies • Technical project leadership experience
