• Serve as the trusted on-site technical representative for airline customers • Operate independently and remotely from GE Aerospace hubs to resolve technical challenges and support customer fleets • Travel for roving on-site customer support • Lead programs and provide technical direction for operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned jet engine product lines • Lead, coach, and mentor Field Service Engineers • Collaborate with other departments to drive operational excellence • Guide commercial field service policy, process, and strategy • Deliver solutions addressing customer issues and drive customer loyalty and partnerships • Track reliability and on-wing performance, including significant events, engine removals, delays, and cancellations • Influence airline stakeholders to implement reliability improvements • Influence long-term maintenance planning for aircraft engine fleets • Interpret OEM and technical manuals • Review maintenance effectiveness and identify training and improvement opportunities • Apply FLIGHT DECK Lean Operating Model principles to identify proactive reliability enhancements • Produce data analytics and timely reports on fleet status, program updates, events, and trends • Provide proactive maintenance recommendations based on engine performance analytics • Work toward Controlled Title Holder status after gaining sufficient experience
• A Bachelor's of Engineering or technical degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma / GED / technical certificate with at least 4 years of full-time work experience in the noted fields • Minimum of 5 years of full-time working experience in Aerospace Field Service, airline operations or maintenance planning, engineering, aviation propulsion, or related fields • Periodic interstate and overseas travel required • Ability to work across multiple time zones, including early morning and occasional late evening teleconferences with stakeholders locally and in the US • Strong technical expertise in aircraft engine fleet management • Experience influencing decision-making in cross-functional teams • Experience using software or data analytics for technical decisions and customer recommendations • Ability to solve problems independently using sound judgment and critical thinking • Ability to lead and deliver result-oriented priorities using project management, analytical, time management, and prioritization skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to build relationships at all levels with internal stakeholders and customers
