📋 Description

• Manage and support critical supplier relationships to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and healthcare regulations • Support business units (BUs) in managing supplier relationships aligned with organizational goals • Conduct and participate in account reviews with suppliers to foster and maintain business relationships • Monitor and analyze supplier performance; conduct regular performance reviews to ensure performance guarantees are met • Identify areas for improvement and work with BUs to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives • Ensure missed performance resolution strategies are identified and liquidated damages are correctly calculated and received • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier engagements; address reported risk events and facilitate root cause analysis with proper documentation • Facilitate and oversee cross-functional discussions related to supplier risk and performance • Support monitoring of contract terms; manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including clinical, administrative, and operational teams to understand business needs and objectives • Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams and act as primary escalation point for supplier-related issues • Analyze data and build pivot tables, dashboards, and visualizations to support performance monitoring and strategic decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience with demonstrated knowledge and skill in strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain management • Bachelor’s degree • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, collaboration, problem solving and communication skills • Experience in administering training on processes and procedures • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies that drive costs savings and process improvements • Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders • Proficiency in using sourcing tools and software applications • Effective verbal and written communication skills necessary to perform supervisory/lead and training duties • Project management skills and ability to adapt to plans and priorities to address business needs • Required to obtain knowledge of the GEHA Affirmative Action Policy and make decisions regarding promotion and termination of employees that comply with its principles • Strong Analytical Skills and Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, dashboards, and data visualization (desired) • Familiarity with procurement software and supplier management systems (desired) • Certification in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus (desired) • Work-at-home requirements: ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems; minimum speed 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload); latency lower than 80 ms; Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed; a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information • Must not be located in U.S. territories or the following states: Alaska, Hawaii, California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Maine
