📋 Description

• Draft, edit, and proofread communications materials such as newsletters, blog posts, social media content, press releases, and donor reports • Collect and curate stories, photos, and testimonials from learners, alumni, and partners across the region • Support the development of presentations and visual materials for external events and campaigns • Collaborate with country teams to ensure local stories and achievements are captured and shared regionally • Translate and adapt communications content between English, Spanish, and Portuguese (a plus, not a requirement), ensuring accuracy and tone alignment • Support the planning, scheduling, and publishing of content on Generation social media channels • Monitor engagement and performance metrics and help identify opportunities to strengthen reach and visibility • Assist in preparing and distributing press materials and maintaining media lists • Help prepare internal newsletters, announcements, and leadership messages that keep Latin America teams informed and connected • Support the planning and execution of communications campaigns, events, and content launches

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or content creation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a strong plus) • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Experience using digital communication tools (e.g., Canva, Insider, Google Workspace, or similar) • A collaborative mindset and comfort working with remote, cross-cultural teams
