📋 Description

• NewForce's Level Up program is an effort to support the growth of program graduates beyond their original training by attending to the technical and professional skills necessary to "level up" in their careers. • Participants will dive into the Python programming language through a combination of lectures, videos, and applied work through our partnership with DataCamp. • Program will cover exploratory data analysis using pandas, data visualizations with matplotlib and seaborn, geospatial with geopandas and folium, PostgresSQL with SQLalchemy, webscraping with beautiful soup, and utilizing APIs with request methods.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a NewForce Program graduate (any software cohort, 1-9) • Must be available for a 1-hour weekly session, time TBD based on participant availability • Must be committed to full attendance and participation throughout the 8-week program

🏖️ Benefits

• In the same spirit as the traditional NewForce program, Level Up is offered free of charge for participants. • Level Up participants are not eligible for our living stipend or laptop rental programs; however, they will be able to take advantage of a free DataCamp license.
